Family & Community

Meals & WellnessAt Annunciation, we hope to build a community where everyone eats well, exercises regularly, and develops a healthy lifestyle. This starts with offering free, balanced, nutritional meals to all our students, as well as promoting opportunities (like the Colfax Marathon pictured above) for students, teachers, and families to be active and improve their knowledge of healthy lifestyle choices.
School Meal ProgramAnnunciation participates in the USDA Federal Hot Lunch & Breakfast program. As a Provision 2 school within the Federal Meal Program, ALL meals (breakfast and lunch everyday during the school year) are provided to ALL students at NO COST to families. Since nutrition is such an important part of learning, we ask all students (except those having allergies) to eat hot lunch provided by the school each day, instead of bringing their own lunches. Breakfast is served for all students beginning at 7:40 each morning. Lunch is served for all students between 11:15 - 12:00 each day, with younger students eating earlier, followed by older students later.
For more information on our program or to discuss any issues you may have, please contact Melissa Rodriguez, the Financial Secretary, by phone or email (Melissa.rodriguez@annunciationk8.org | 303.295-2515), or simply stop by the school office.
