Journey Through Our Heritage | Journey Through Our Heritage is one of the nation’s most innovative and unique multi-cultural educational programs. Sponsored by Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) Department of Chicano/Chicana Studies and Department of Africana Studies, JTOH partners college peer mentors with local high school students to learn more about their culture and history. Annunciation is the only middle school that participates in this program, and despite our young age, we have who the final grand prize each of the past 2 years. The goal of JTOH is to engage students in a yearlong program that enhances the student understanding of their unique heritage.

Open Registration for the 2018-19 school year is still available for grades Kindergarten – 8th Grade. Available spots are limited & some classes already have waiting lists, so don’t delay. We want you to join our small, safe, vivacious school community! We are very proud of our Annunciation graduates from the Class of 2013 (High School Class of 2017) who are headed to college with lots of scholarship. For the second year in a row, our graduating class includes a Daniel's Fund Scholarship Winner (Carla Romero), a Kathy Fortune Scholars (Jesus Pinedo), and 2 students earning Full Scholarships to Regis University through the Porter-Billups Leadership Academy (Betsy Flores & Annaliese Gutierrez), and many more students who are blazing new trails to college as the first in their family to attend.
